Your traffic analytics preference
Optional traffic analytics is off until you explicitly allow it. These equally available choices apply in this browser and do not change Reader Pulse, newsletter signup or hosting/security processing. The first-visit panel offers the same choices without blocking reading. Use Analytics preferences to reopen them. Continue without choosing saves no preference and leaves analytics off. The status below is checked on this device. You can reject or withdraw permission at any time; an earlier analytics hit cannot be undone.

Your explicit choice stores 1 for Reject or 0 for Allow in local storage under 21cee.analytics.exclude. It adds no analytics cookie, fingerprint, IP rule or identity lookup. It persists in this browser until you change your choice or clear the stored preference. Clearing it returns optional analytics to off. Existing saved exclusions remain rejected. New browsers and private windows need the choice again. If storage is blocked, the on-device status will explain that the choice could not be saved.
For an additional temporary exclusion, open this page with the temporary QA exclusion. The exact query ?21cee_qa=1 excludes only that page; it does not save a preference. Pages on noncanonical preview hosts are also excluded. Ordinary canonical-site visitors are measured only after an explicit saved Allow choice. Missing or unavailable storage keeps optional analytics off.
Allow reloads an ordinary canonical page to apply permission. Reject stops future beacon loading; if a beacon is already active, the page reloads to stop that page’s analytics. Reload other already-open tabs to apply withdrawal there. Preview, owner and temporary QA exclusions still apply even after Allow. If saving a choice fails, the status explains the failure; use the temporary QA link to stop current-page analytics. These controls cannot remove already-counted traffic or clean up historical totals. These traffic reports use Cloudflare Web Analytics.
What is not enabled
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page traffic and performance only after an explicit Allow choice and without setting analytics cookies. We do not add reader emails, demographic choices or poll answers to its measurements. We do not set advertising cookies, load ad pixels, or embed social-media tracking widgets. Reader Pulse and the on-site signup form use a necessary session cookie when you interact with them. Optional demographic answers require their own consent. The external Kit signup opens only when you follow its link; we do not embed Kit on this website. Kit may use its own cookies and processing on its pages, under the privacy notice on its form. Kit signup includes email confirmation and unsubscribe choices; connecting a signup form does not enable a newsletter delivery schedule. Payment services are not enabled. We will provide appropriate information and choices before adding non-essential storage or tracking.
Your controls
Use the Light/Dark button to change appearance. To remove the saved choice, clear website data for the21cee.com in your browser settings. Blocking local storage does not prevent reading the forecast; your appearance choice may simply stop persisting. Browser privacy tools can block the Cloudflare analytics beacon without preventing forecast reading.
The reader cookie is first-party, Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict. Blocking it can prevent survey participation or use of the on-site signup form. It does not control the separate Kit subscription. To delete this browser’s saved poll answers, use Withdraw my reader data before clearing the cookie. Removing the cookie does not itself delete server records or unsubscribe a Kit subscription. Use the unsubscribe link in Kit emails to stop that subscription; request deletion of on-site signup or provider records at info@the21cee.com.
Cookies and local storage are different technologies. A display preference does not authorize marketing. Links to external sites may involve their own cookies.
