How to use 21CEE

  • Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links and controls. Enter opens links; Enter or Space operates buttons and expandable details.
  • Use “Skip to content” to pass the main navigation.
  • Switch between light and dark mode. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
  • Searchable race tables and expandable county tables provide alternatives to visual maps. Party names, candidate names and numeric values accompany colors.
  • On narrow screens, tables scroll within their own labeled regions; focus the region to scroll with the keyboard.

Our standard and review

We work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We review page structure, accessible names, keyboard access, visible focus, contrast, responsive layouts and alternatives for charts. Automated checks and browser reviews help identify problems; they do not establish complete conformance or replace testing with assistive technologies.

Known limitations

Older, preserved forecast reports retain their original layouts and may differ from current pages. Complex maps and dense data tables may still need improvements for particular assistive technologies. County illustrations are explicitly labeled estimates; missing source data is disclosed rather than invented.

Report a barrier

Email info@the21cee.com with the page address and the task you could not complete. If useful, include your browser or assistive technology and your preferred format. We can discuss an alternative way to provide the information.
